This Sci-Friday, we’re having a marathon of some classic Star Trek films! Join us right at 10:00 for Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982, PG, 1 hour 53 minutes), in which James T. Kirk must once again captain the Enterprise as he takes on Khan, an enemy he thought he’d never fight again. Then at noon we’ll start Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984, PG, 1 hour 45 minutes), which finds Kirk taking dramatic action to save Spock and McCoy, angering the Klingons to the brink of battle. We’ll take a short break, then, at 2:00 p.m. start Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986, PG, 2 hours 2 minutes), which finds the Enterprise crew trying to blend into 1980s San Francisco long enough to find two key items and transport them – a mated pair of humpback whales – back to their present and save the world. Come whenever you wish and stay as long as you like. Feel free to bring your own snacks, drinks, and anything you might need to get comfortable! All ages are welcome at Sci-Friday screenings.
