Education Collection
The West Bend Library's Education Collection exists to support parents, educators, tutors and homeschool families. Located on the second floor by the public internet computers, these books have call numbers that start with EDU and include curriculum materials, activity ideas, strategies for working with students, and more. This collection is growing every day, and largely relies on community input for its continued development. To make a suggestion for purchase, or to learn more about the Education Collection, contact the library at libref@westbendlibrary.org.
Librarian Visits
Our Youth Services librarians visit classrooms, attend career day events, and staff tables at resource fairs as often as we can. Common classroom visit topics include upcoming library events, how to get and use a library card, how to use the public library for classroom projects, getting excited about the Summer Reading Program, and more! The more advance notice we have, the more likely we'll be able to accommodate your request for a visit. Contact us to see what's possible!

Library Tours
Librarian-guided tours of the library are available as librarian time permits, and should be scheduled with a librarian in advance. Over the years, we find kids get the most out of a tour in groups of 25 or less. Tours typically take about 30 minutes. Contact a librarian to set up your tour today! (Librarians are not available for tours May-August, as that's our busiest time - summer reading.)
